As we sat there, we considered leaving, but since there are no Popeyes where we live, we decided to stay. When we reached the window, the young lady apologized again for the wait and explained that they were experiencing some issues. She informed us that it might take some time for our food because she was not only taking orders and payments but also cooking the food herself. We had ordered meals for five people, paid, and then parked to wait. To our surprise, less than ten minutes later, she came to our car with our food, once again apologizing for the wait and the situation. Everything was correct, and the food was hot and fresh. I want to commend this young lady for her kindness, professionalism, and ability to remain composed under pressure. She did an outstanding job and truly exceeded our expectations.

The food was great, just like always. However, I ordered two 10-piece wing boxes and only received a total of 10 wings. The highlight of my experience was the cashier, who was incredibly sweet. She greeted me with a genuine smile, asked about my day, and actually listened to my response. Her friendly demeanor truly brightened my day, even though I had to wait a bit for my order. That's the kind of customer service we all hope for every time we dine out.

When this Popeyes first opened, I was really excited to try it, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. I realized that it’s usually wise to avoid dining at a restaurant during its opening phase, as they often still have a learning curve. However, I decided to give it another shot last night, and I’m so glad I did! It was fantastic to finally enjoy Popeyes chicken again. We ordered chicken tenders—I chose spicy while my son opted for mild. I also got shrimp, but sadly, they were out of fries, which meant we had to explore other side options. I ordered red beans and rice, and my son picked mashed potatoes with gravy. Since he’s only 10, it was his first experience with Popeyes, and he didn’t enjoy the mashed potatoes and gravy because of the spice. I thought the red beans and rice were tasty, but I still missed having fries. That said, it wasn’t their fault they were out. The apple pies were amazing, and I will definitely be returning, even though it is a bit on the pricey side. It’s well worth it now, especially compared to when they first opened. So for anyone who was disappointed the first time they tried it, I recommend going back—it really tastes like Popeyes now!

My wife and I were ready to give up on Popeyes after experiencing several disappointing chicken meals. However, after hearing that they were under new management, we decided to give them another chance. We're so glad we did! The chicken was the best we've had in a long time. When we got home, it was still piping hot and cooked to perfection. Great job, everyone! I just hope you maintain this level of quality.

I vowed never to go back to the Popeyes in Altoona, but that was two years ago. Recently, my husband and I decided to give it another chance, thinking that two years is quite a long time. To our delight, we were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is now under new management, and Abraham and his team were both friendly and efficient. The chicken was cooked to perfection and had the ideal level of spice. If you haven't been there in a while, I highly recommend checking it out again. I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.
