Contribuiți la feedbackThis restaurant was recommended when I asked in a local Farmacia where we should eat, directions given and we found it easily. A very busy place, three separate rooms to accommodate their customers. The food was superb...absolutely superb.portions were not huge but delicious and ample. The postre pudding) was the best I have eaten in ages. Described as chocolate and coconut cake...not what I expected at all! The base was crumbled nuts and coconut, the filling looked like cream but cannot be sure what it was..possibly meringue mixed with cream and some coconut but do not know precisely, topped with a soft yummy chocolate and dusted with some more coconut . Normally, my husband doesn't eat desserts but he did try some of mine and loved it! We returned the following night and were glad to get a table as it was packed with locals. We started with a couple of tapas and then my husband chose Steak Japanese style... Tataki) really a steak tartare..raw fillet steak served finely sliced and garnished with wasabi....he loved every mouthful! €18). I chose the pork fillet barbecue style...a huge plate full of large pieces of pork fillet which were slightly charred...yummy, garnished with some soft red peppers and something like mayonnaise . €12). Yes, We both had postre again and my chocolate pud was again a delight. €2). Total bill for wines and beers was €48. The address is Calle Martinez Almagro, Almeria. We complemented the chef and wish it were somewhere closer to where we stay in Spain as we would become regular patrons If the chef reads this review, Please, please give me the recipe for the chocolate and coconut cake as I would dearly like my family and friends to sample it! A wonderful eatery . Forgot to say...their bread is also delicious, so fresh and a joy to eat. The staff were so welcoming and one lovely girl spoke excellent English which helped as our Spanish is quite poor!
