Kantara - Alcantara

We stayed a the hotel as a last minute decision and it proved to be the right one. Going half board, dinner was included and was a €15pp menu of the day. Couple small issues with the meal not really worth mentioning, but on the whole it was good value and decent portion sizes. Breakfast was also included and was satisfactory too.

We were so pleasantly surprised that we went back the next day. The day menu is amazingly affordable considering the high quality of the food. It’s tasty and creative.

Very good three-course lunch, very attractively served, for four of us for 60 euros. Lovely surroundings and good service, but maybe a little more confidence (or competence) in English could have made us feel we were communicating well. Well worth the visit.

The truth is that the kindness and good work of the person in the room have not been able to be surprised to see that some dishes do not meet expectations. Maybe we're not close to our choice.
