I was excited to find a nice restaurant with vegan options! However, they only had 4 vegan dishes available - including vegan burgers on Fridays at 5:30 pm. Our group of 8 vegans was disappointed as we had to share the burgers, which were tasty. The beet salad and carrot salad were also delicious, but my partner and I ended up eating at home later on. I recommend calling ahead if you are vegan to ensure they have enough options available. The service was excellent, the wine was delicious, and the room had a romantic atmosphere with a beautiful view of the mountains. I will definitely return, and will call ahead next time.

My wife and I always seek out top-rated restaurants when we travel to a new city, and Mesa Provisions in Albuquerque was on our list during our recent visit. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was relaxed, yet the entire team was clearly working together seamlessly. Our waiter did an excellent job of guiding us through our meal, which showcased spectacular food representing the winter season and Southwestern regional style. The chef made an effort to be visible and personally checked in on our table twice to ensure we were enjoying our dishes. It was refreshing to see a chef so involved in the dining experience. The BBQ’d beets and boneless ribeye were outstanding, with the steak served with a mushroom ragú, shoestring fries, and Parmesan cheese. The flavors were exceptional in every bite. The panna cotta dessert was a surprising hit, leaving us wishing we had ordered more. In terms of value, Mesa Provisions is comparable to top restaurants in larger cities but at a more affordable price point. If you appreciate a fantastic dining experience and supporting chef-driven establishments, Mesa Provisions is a must-visit.

I have not dined out in a long time, but Mesa Provisions was the perfect choice for my first meal back. Our server, Dominic, was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We tried the carrots, kale salad, and brussels sprout toast, with the toast being one of the best things I have ever eaten. I highly recommend it. We also ordered the burger and smoked chicken, both of which were fantastic. This is the best restaurant in town and I cannot wait to return.
