Garcia's Original Kitchen - Albuquerque

Fantastic food, fantastic prices, and an amazing staff! I ordered the enchiladas and steak, and they were delicious. My wife had the flautas, which were also great. I highly recommend this place if you’re ever in downtown Albuquerque!

We absolutely love Garcia's Kitchen for breakfast! Since we live in the countryside, we often come to Albuquerque for flights. Whenever we arrive late and spend the night, the following morning is always a "Garcia's morning." My personal favorite is the Carne Adobada Breakfast, which comes with plenty of delicious chile-roasted pork, beans, rice, two eggs, and sopapillas. Of course, it's generously covered in red or green chile. I always opt for the red because I believe Garcia's has the best red chile gravy in New Mexico. Definitely give it a try!

The food is so good never get tired of it. Been working for the company for 20 plus years. The chile is the best in town.

If you're looking for the ultimate New Mexican greasy spoon, look no further. Garcia's is a place where locals know they can expect consistently amazing homestyle new mex cuisine every single time. The chile rellenos are easily the best in town, with a thin but tasty batter that yields with the perfect texture. Sopapillas are crispy yet soft, and always fresh. For a real treat, order papas instead of rice.
