Agalio Thai Cuisine - Albany

My cousin and I live in Santa Cruz County. We've never been to Albany before 3/12/22, my birthday when we went to the Ivy Room on the street. We didn't eat all day, so we were STARVING. The white lotus was almost closed, but served us a plentiful meal, plus kept the kitchen open for our dessert orders an hour after closing time. We had Pad Thai with Tofu, Sweet Sour (sauteed) Shrimp, roasted Calamari, egg rolls and took a lot of food home. We had mango sticky rice and fried bananas and coconut ice cream for dessert. Forgive my menu choices, but I loved fried food. They had pages and pages of other decisions. Service was excellent and our orders were delivered quickly and accurately, i.e. no green pepper on sweet acid shrimps. We were there until 10:20, even though they closed at 9:00, and never chased us out. Great staff, clean restaurant and facilities, food was presented beautifully with large wedges of fresh oranges. Unbelievable! Now we know where to eat in East Bay.

Owners are very nice. She Thai tea is very good! My favorite dishes were the duck in red curry and pumpkin curry. Very recommended!

We come here a lot and there are hardly more than two or three parties here... I'm sad they close... the food is absolutely incredible! The servers are wonderful and they even let Thai practice with them! I always get the Khao soi, but I had other articles and they're all delicious. Please apply this wonderful restaurant. I can't stand to see her go!

I work in the neighborhood and go to White Lotus for lunch at least once a week; we always receive a warm welcome! Best peanut sauce in Albany!!! Delicious chicken satay and pra ram tofu. Good prices and good service.
