The staff is not only nice but also friendly, making the experience delightful. Be warned: the Large Fries at Leirunesti are alarmingly large, but that's not a complaint! The generous portion size complements the generally good prices, making it a satisfying deal. Additionally, the convenience of free parking adds to the overall positive experience. For those looking to enjoy their shakes and fries in a relaxed setting, there's seating upstairs. The availability of toilet facilities further enhances the convenience. What sets Leirunesti apart is their creativity with shakes. The ability to customize your shake with various toppings adds a personal touch. I particularly appreciated the drive-through option and the fact that they're open late, making it a convenient choice for a sweet treat. A special shoutout to the young man at the counter during my visit on 1.12.23, night shift. His patience in explaining the ice cream shakes and offering recommendations for toppings made the experience even more enjoyable. My wife and I ate here after visiting Godafoss, and we were very impressed! Just be aware that the fries are a bit salty, but the flavor is wonderful. The hotdog definitely exceeded my expectations, and the fry burger with pepperoni and bacon was awesome! Great Icelandic fast food compared to what we get in the states.
