Had the best ham and salad sandwich for lunch very generous servings. Highly recommended. They also have cakes, coffee and serve breakfast right in the heart of the cbd.

Met with a friend for lunch just to catch up on things and this was the place he suggested. I was surprised that it was not a lot more crowded during lunchtime because they really provide good food and service.The interior is fresh and inviting, certainly better inside than out in the icy cold today. My hot chocolate was a treat, served in an enormous cup and just the thing to warm me up. My steak and kidney pie was tasty and my friend had some kind of toasted roll which also looked just right for a lunchtime meal.So why was the place not crowded? There is plenty of room for a quick sit down meal and it is a really nice place with very friendly people. Perhaps you should give it a try.

Perfect coffee and great service. Ordered a breakfast with the lot and loved it. Didn't have to wait long and appreciated the cold water offered to me as I sat down. I will return to this little market gem!

I ordered sourdough toast and was served a slice of helgas wholemeal... You're in the Central Markets !! amazing bread everywhere - make an effort ! And butter as hard as a brick ? Take it out the fridge, have it softened. It's not hard to get it right for $2.95 a slice...

Unfortunately this was not a good breakfast experience. An almost 50 minute wait to receive our order; nearly all orders incorrect; almost everything overcooked; poached eggs should never be firm; chai lattes unstirred to the point that we could see the dried powder sitting at the bottom of the mug. Excuse - they only had two staff...Considering there are so many good places to eat in the market, this place is not worth the time to visit. Go somewhere else and enjoy a good start to the day, you won't get that here.
