I live in Florida but I'm a middle Tennessee native. every time I come home on vacation I try to make an effort to come here. catfish, okra, hush puppies and white beans with a slice of one of their delicious pies. good food doesn't have to be complicated and this place will always have my business.

Wanted to try a mom and pop restaurant on our way to apple picking. Came across this little place and was not disappointed! Food was so good and reminded me a lot of when my grandma cooked for me growing up. I love that they come check on you after they cook and ask you how it was. Felt very homey and the pie was amazing! We hope to visit again soon when in the area. Thank you for a great lunch!!

Cute little dinner inside the old Bell school. Food was amazing! I’ve never had southern fried steak with brown gravy and it was DELICIOUS. Would definitely come back!
