Contribuiți la feedbackDuring a business trip to ANU, I stopped by for a quick lunch. While my companions selected dishes from the bistro, I opted for a noodle soup. The soup consisted of plenty of wontons and noodles, but unfortunately it was lacking in flavor, with only hot water, chili, and spring onions. Despite the underwhelming taste, the dish was priced at $8-9, which was reasonable. However, there are better options available in Dickson for a more satisfying meal.
Good quality food great location very good price. Many vegetarian options and Halal options also. Large variety of drinks. Many seats for groups and large bag of shrimps only $1!
I was extremely disappointed with the service at this restaurant. Yesterday, I was charged a certain amount for my meal and today, for the exact same food, the lady at the counter accused me of owing $13 more. When I tried to address the issue with her, she ignored me and was too busy to listen. I am now considering if there is a way for me to file a complaint at ANU. It is unfair treatment, especially for students like myself. I have heard other students also complain about similar experiences here.
House style cooking in an Asian buffet at Australian National University. Excellent value for money. The dishes include pepper chicken, beef return, spicy eggplant tofu, steamed green Chinese vegetables, lemon chicken, steamed vegetables, spring rolls, dumplings with steamed rice, red rice, spicy rice noodles,...Singporean noodles amazing homemade chilli sauce. Eat or take away. A moderate portion for as little as $7.50, larger served for $9.50. The best value on campus. But if you think you can overload your record, you cannot. Good enough, I say. The boundaries are appropriate. If you visit the Botanical Gardens or the National Museum, walk through the beautiful ANU campus and stop for lunch in the Asian Bistro in the Union Building. Interior decoration is economical and inspiring, but there are many seats. The staff is friendly. If you want coffee and cake, you can go to one of the cafés in the same building. Asian bistro 's food is cooked every day. Not excessively oily or salty unlike many other Asian buffets. I often get some food containers and bring them home for dinner. No, it's not a restaurant gourmet experience, but it's honest, tasty, nutritious and cheap. Great for students, travelers on a budget everyone looking for great value.
Liked the huge variety of cuisines. If you go after three there are cheap lunch boxes. Closed in the evenings. Patronised by Chinese students so must be authentic. Has salads also. Disliked the shabby decor.
