Eastern - Accokeek

For the last 10 years, I have walked in and been greeted by the friendly gentleman behind the counter. I'm embarrassed to say he recognized me by my order that's how much I stood by this location. Sadly I think we might need to find a new go-to place. The staff and the recipes seem completely different. I usually get beef and broccoli with shrimp toast. About 6 months ago I noticed my order tasted a little different but was still good. Tonight was different all the food my family ordered tasted 100% different and for the first time we got home and were missing an item. Mistakes happen so thats no big deal but sad to see the quality and care go down. Not sure if they've sold or just changed things up but I want the old easterns back.

I used to go to their old location on glebe road and always remembered their food was good. So I wanted something on the go and I drove to the old location to see they wasn't there. Then I went on Yelp and saw that there's a location near by. Surprisingly, it's the same owner is the location that I used to go to back in the day. The food is still good and I would recommend this place. Most of the food is good. Definitely more of a place if you're looking for something easy and fast. Carryout of delivery type of night

This was our family’s go to carry out Chinese food. We loved it. Tonight we got an order. The food has changed. The steamed dumplings were a different shape with chicken. The mangolin beef had very little beef. The eggs rolls were different. I don’t know when this change started. But I want the old Easterns back. New food supplier or did some else buy the restaurant. I don’t know. But it’s not as good as it once was.

My favorite Chinese spot in the Waldorf area! 10/10 chicken wings and My meals usually last me 2-3 days. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fried Rice, Wings, Shrimp Roll

This is the best Chinese takeout we have found in the area we drive here from Waldorf to pick it up because it really is better than any other place we have found. The only one that comes close is Hunan Star in La Plata but this is still preferred. My husband loves their General Tso chicken and I'm a big fan of their Egg Foo Young. Portion sizes are large so we always have leftovers! Worth the drive to Manokeek!
