Waffle House - Abingdon

We all have certain expectations when we go out to eat for each of their own, but for me I feel like it is different for every place. the things that are important to me are cleanliness, good and timely table-side style and eat that I want to eat. and this place has checked all my boxes. just what I didn't love is that there were gum-like bits in my grotten, which I guess was from the edge of the container, but everything else was hot ready and content and our server was just the right amount of zelt.

Went inside and was told we could sit anywhere but none of the available tables were cleaned yet.One person cleaned a single table that we sat down at and then nobody ever came to the table after that to wait on us. We ended up just leaving.I usually love getting to stop at a Waffle House but not this time and not at this location, sadly.

I can say one good thing about this Waffle House the old woman waiting on us was very nice but when it came down when it came down to the other workers they were racist it was so much tension you can cut it with a knife I will never go back to a place like this I have been too so many Waffle Houses I have never been treated like this a racist Waffle House I am black and my fiance was white they barely wanted to serve us I wish I could give it a zero thank God the older waitress came to our table we were there Sunday June 26th between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. reason why I remember that because I told my waitress every time I get there they're changing shifts our table was the last one before the restrooms right next to the door they go back to the restaurant to get supplies and there's a window there it looks like it's one way but you can see through it the reason why I'm mentioning this because there was a worker there vaping in the back room I actually saw the person who was vaping

Waffle House never disappoints!! Breakfast was delicious as usual. Staff friendly and fast! Kudos to the chef.

Standard Waffle House fare with pretty good breakfast (Pecan Waffles Added bonus of very friendly staff who all shower you with Welcome to Waffle House as soon as you walk in the door!
