Although this is a BBQ place, but they really have one of the best Ribeye Steak in Texas. The steak is tasteful and juicy without putting any sauces. You order the steak through inches instead of ounces here. Really recommend ordering 2 ' '' steak and sharing with another person. My friends order 3/4' and 1/3' steak but my got the perfect medium. The fried onion and okra is also good. This place really recommend when you come from abilene.

I'm always looking for good south home cook. We stopped here with an employee proposal on a business trip and I'm so glad we did it! It was a weekday at 4:00, and sitting within minutes, the place filled. It is always a good sign when locals try to beat the food, which means that the food brings in a lot. I am not a big fan of BBQ, but the other available selections were diverse and all looked delicious. I went with Hamburger Steak with new potatoes and cabbage, and it was one of the best meals I have eaten absolutely impeccably in recent years! The homemade breads and Jalapeño Cornbread were also AMAZING. I just found my way to dinner when the work takes me somewhere near Abilene! Spectacular food with friendly and efficient service.

A very large part of food for what you pay here. I tried the bbq combination plate with brisket, sausage, ribs, potato salad and Cole Slav. They give you maize bread and slices of fresh bread before meal. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. They were pretty busy, but I didn't have to wait long for something. Definitely recommend whether you are in the area.

Decided to try this out my way BBQ Restaurant, man was that the best decision ever! I've got the smallest rib and I came out, so filled! Maybe one day I'll come with the 2 inch seal! Great service, nice atmosphere. Ordered ribs, chopped brisket, and sausage. Sides of potato salad and green beans. Price was good. Brisket and potato salad was great! The ribs were decent, but was really disappointed in the green beans and sausage. The green beans came out completely plain like they were just dumped out of a can by themselves with nothing added. Even lower end restaurants add something to season up the beans a bit. The sausage was the real disappointment, very tough and tasteless. Gave a few of my friends at the table a couple pieces without saying anything, and they just kind of stared and said that sausage is pretty bad . According to reviews, they have amazing steak, so I should probably try that sometime, but for everything else I 'll continue going to a different place.
