Fun Noodle - Abilene

Pretty solid place. The food is probably more of a three-star quality, but I am bumping it up due to lack of options in the area. We shared soup dumplings and I had the hell ramen, which was flavorful, but not that spicy. Good option if you are in the area

Really interesting fusion take on Asian cuisine. The pad Thai was tasty, the crab rangoons were great no crab tho , the egg rolls are fantastic. The biggest hit for me is the chashu buns which are wonderfully set off by the hoisin sauce pro tip is to hit them with some sriracha .

Decided to try this place on a recent shopping trip to abilene with my man and I was really disappointed. it started well, the place was busy and the staff was friendly and efficient. for appetizers we ordered an avocado tuna reel that was great, really fresh, and the early reels were pretty good, although a bit muddy on the inside, but our escapes were not great. the mannes general tso was chewing and tasted old, as it was cooked and reheated yesterday. my dish, the pan roasted noodles sweet, had fresh sweet, but was otherwise dirty and the noodles were muddy and seemed undercooked maybe they could say I hate muddy food:D. Mostly I am mad that this seems as if they were trying to get away with sub-par readers. I will not go back.

I ordered Pan Fried Noodles. After all, this is a noodle bar, is it not? I was expecting some nice thick charred noodles, with equally charred veg and some version of yummy brown sauce. Maybe a little spicy kick, but I hoped not too much. What I got was a SMALL delivery dish of brown glop that was so strong with garlic it would have kept Dracula at bay from 100 miles. No joke, the noodles were thick alright good , and mostly stuck together in a glob I had to pull apart with some effort bad . There were a few pieces of scraggly looking meat in there, at least I could tell the shrimps apart from the other meat. And the veg was all bean sprouts with a few slices of onion. As I said, it was a small portion. For the reviews saying they got plenty of food, even leftovers, this was not the case today. I also ordered egg rolls. Beef. The upside is I received three, not just two. Sadly, they were cold and quite oily. When something deep fried is oily, it is because it was fried in oil that wasn't up to temperature. These were a complete miss. The delivery service Door Dash was timely, friendly, and very courteous. No complaints for them. Fun Noodle Bar, however, was a complete disappointment on my first order. I dare say, with as much money as I spent on just the food, as bad as it was I see no reason to go back to it.

My mom and I had an amazing time at Fun Noodle Bar during our vacation! We ordered the Abaline Roll, Pink Lady Roll, Black Garlic Ramen, Takoyaki, and Plum Wine. Everything was so fresh and yummy!
