Shǒu Dǎ らーめん Xuán

This restaurant serves delicious handmade noodles and refreshing soy sauce ramen. It's easy to spot with its yellow sign. The noodles are thick and chewy, with a unique texture that's similar to udon but different. They also come in a generous portion. The soup has a light soy sauce flavor and is perfect for those who prefer a lighter broth. There are no ramen options other than soy sauce. While those who enjoy richer broths might not be as impressed, personally, I really liked it. The soup had a standard soy sauce taste but was deep and satisfying to drink. It's easy to eat, so it's uncommon to see many elderly customers at a ramen shop. The restaurant is also popular for its dumplings, which have a firm skin, generous filling, and a surprising size. The dumplings have a unique aftertaste due to the addition of spices (perhaps Sichuan pepper), which may divide opinions. Both the ramen and dumplings are delicious, filling, and affordable, making this restaurant a great value for money. For those driving, be mindful of the entrance to the parking lot as there is a high step that may scrape the bottoms of low vehicles.

I had the char siu ramen and dumplings. The soup was light. The noodles were thick and curly, similar to udon, and there was a generous amount. There were two types of char siu, one with less fat and a chewy texture, and the other with more fat and melt-in-your-mouth consistency, both thick and large in size, also with a generous amount. The dumplings were three times bigger than expected, with a chewy skin filled with a flavorful filling. There was a hint of a unique scent of Chinese five-spice or star anise, and it was delicious. Overall, it's a restaurant where you'll leave with a full stomach. The place is bustling with customers.

Second visit. Without hesitation, I ordered the handmade chashu ramen for 900 yen. The noodles were chewy, with a fantastic handmade texture that danced in my mouth. The soup had a classic Chinese flavor, but with a lingering deliciousness. The chashu was the finishing touch and was incredibly delicious. This place belongs to the top tier of Sano ramen (apologies for my ignorance). Will definitely come back again.

久々に来た〜!2回位寄って休みでしょんぼりした事ありましたw 手もみラーメン玄。手打ちちゃーしゅーめん（╹╹）だしがあっさり、ツルツル食べれる。柔らかくさっぱりとしたチャーシュー。メンマとネギとてもシンプルなラーメンお腹いっぱい。満足！　餃子ジャンボ！jumbo！ しそ風味5入り2皿注文

小生普段は豚骨を好んで食してますが、たまぁーーにアッサリ系が食べたくなり来店。 金曜日の19時、待ちは無しで入店できました。 とても美味しくいただきました。
