21shì Jì - 三好市

The indescribable atmosphere of Showa-era retro coffee shop is irresistible. I often stop by because the coffee is delicious. I love the nostalgic sundaes they serve.

The restaurant opens until evening. It's a regular coffee shop. The location is easy to find in the arcade area (the sign is big so it's easy to spot from Awa-Ikeda station). You can smoke at your table (it's a smoking town so it's understandable). The lunch set meal is 770 yen and comes with a drink (such as coffee). I had the hamburger and it was delicious. It didn't taste like a factory-made hamburger, it felt like it was made here... with finely chopped onions in it. The restroom has a bidet toilet seat which adds to the cleanliness, which is very helpful.

Eating here will leave you feeling full and satisfied. I always order a smaller portion, which is just right for active students.

後輩のオススメで行きました。 若鶏の唐揚げ定食、美味しかったです。 お店の人に尋ねると、４０年の歴史があるそうで、とても雰囲気のよいお店でした。 たまたまかかっていた松田聖子の曲で１９８０年代がよみがえりました！
